My name is Taylor Moreau and I am a certified New York State Mathematics Teacher and an alumna of Mount Saint Mary College, where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and a Master of Science degree in Education with certification in Adolescent Education and dually in the field of Teaching Students with Disabilities.
I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Instructional Design in Technology through Liberty University. Due to the various opportunities and placements in high school Mathematics classes with both general and special education students that I have had, I can ensure the areas of my philosophy of education. As an educator, I always find an avenue to create a learning environment that is catered to the needs of my learners while making an impact on each student that walks through the doors of my classroom each day. I am a member of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society as well as Kappa Mu Epsilon National Mathematics Honor Society. I am also a member of Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society and graduated as a Mount Saint Mary College Aquinas Scholar as well as the Class of 2022 receiver of the Sister Marie Genevieve Love Award for the graduate that displayed the characteristic of Excellence in the field of Mathematics at Mount Saint Mary College. Interests of mine include hiking the mountains around my home in New York's Hudson Valley, reading mystery novels, cooking, baking, traveling, and more. The moments that I am not trying my best to enlighten the many young minds that I am fortunate to teach my knowledge to, I send my time working alongside my family members and providing the services that our local business has to offer. |
